San Pedro Calungsod

San Pedro Calungsod, one of two official Pilipino saints died in the 1600s.  When he was martyred his body was put on a boat and dumped into the sea.  Because of this part of the commemoration of his life is a procession to the lake.  Fishermen volunteer their boats so others can ride along to the other side, about a two-hour ride.
