Flores de Mayo

Aglipay Church, Round 1

Flores de Mayo (flowers of May) is a feast that honors Mary, mother of Jesus.  Her titles are portrayed by girls or young ladies with their escorts.

The girls in these pictures are simply carrying roses for Mary.

The young man in the foreground is Eduard, son of a childhood friend.
